EPDM o-rings are available in any colour, shore hardness and size. We also offer EPDM seals that are suitable for use with drinking water / food applications. These can be manufactured in hardnesses from 40 to 90 Shore.

EPDM o-rings have gained wide seal industry acceptance for their excellent ozone and chemical resistance characteristics.

Key uses of EPDM o rings include outdoor weather resistant uses, automotive brake systems, automobile cooling systems, water applications and low torque drive belts. EPDM o rings are often used in hot water / steam applications up to 150C (peroxide cure types).

EPDM o rings have excellent resistance to ozone, weathering and sunlight. They have good heat resistance, low compression set and good flexibility at low temperatures.

When compounded using peroxide curing agents, high temperature service can reach +150°C (+302°F). Good resistance to acids and solvents (i.e. MEK and Acetone). EPDM o rings are ideal for use in phosphate-ester based hydraulic fluids and glycol based fluid systems.

EPDM o rings are not resistant to petroleum products (mineral oils, greases and fuels) and offers no resistance to hydrocarbon fluids.
